Welcome to East Bernstadt Middle School’s Computer Intervention Classes

My name is Julie Grubb.  This is my second year teaching the computer intervention class in the East Bernstadt Middle School.  In my classroom your children will use Reading Plus to improve their reading comprehension and vocabulary levels; Xello to explore their interests, possible careers based on these interests, classes for your child to take in high school and college, as well as colleges that will help your child attain their career; Typing Club to learn/practice their typing skills including the number of words they can type per minute; and IXL to practice the math concepts they are learning in their math class

While your children are in this class, they will be given the responsibility of working on their computer assignments independently.  I will be there to help them learn to use the new programs we have this year, answer their questions, and help them complete assignments.
